The hard mode here is activated by leaving Shadron, Tenebron, and Vesperon alive. WebbIt's also something we've all immediately realized as well. The players complaining about it originally in wotlk were under the impression that hardmode loot was special. Let me shatter the illusion. All hardmode loot means is that 70% of a boss' loot table is garbage. You will ALWAYS be doing "hardmode" since it's how you get the real loot.

WebbLet's not get ahead of ourselves. Arguably true for Sarth 3D but nowadays 10man is just considered to be easier. Nowadays, yes. But back in the original Wotlk, 10 man was unquestionably considered as hard as - if not harder - than 25 man. The only additional challenge of 25 man during that expansion was always the extra organization it required.
