The memorial honours the men and women of No 5 Glider Training School, formed at RAF Shobdon in 1942. WebbI had seen the Langham Dome advertised and was keen to visit. I didn’t fully understand what the Dome was prior to my visit but I like military history. The Dome is located on the apron of the former Langham airfield. The Dome itself is small and so I didn’t expect my visit to take long. What a fantastic surprise.
